Music sets an important tone for a reception. I remember a few years ago when I attended a reception where the bride and groom entered to the beats of, “Lets Get Ready to Rumble”. That certainly set the stage for a more modern, fun, dance-party feel throughout the night. When I got married, my in-law’s family added a lot of their own musical talent. Throughout the night, various aunts, uncles, and cousins performed a wide variety of musical selections while our guests ate and mingled. Even without spending much money, music can add a sentimental and personal touch to the day or evening.
I recently attended a reception where I heard the West Coast Jazz Players provide the music for the evening. They were phenomenal. Their music selection was so smooth and classy. They are based in Southern Utah but are prepared to play elsewhere providing the inclusion of adequate travel expenses. As I watched them play throughout the night (people danced, by the way, which is always fun) I kept thinking that this is what so many engaged couples would consider priceless on their wedding day. Watching family and friends dance and enjoy themselves to music full of nostalgia and charm. If this sounds like your style, you should contact them right away!
