Ok, so I think everyone in Utah has a strong opinion about Cultural Hall weddings. Whether you’re for or against, the fact of the matter is- if you have friends and live in the state of Utah, you’ll be going to be going to a few of these every year.
Because of this fact, businesses specializing in transforming a basketball court into a wedding reception have appeared just about everywhere you turn. A great idea- though I give you my warning. Add up all that you’ll spend to create that ‘free’ reception center and then go and look at how much it costs to just rent a real one. A lot of times it can be cheaper to just rent a room somewhere.
That being said there are a few companies out there who will make it worth your while to use that free church facility. Cindyrella Weddings is one of them.
Through her services you can rent a false ceiling ($400.00), perimeter draping ($100 per wall) backdrops ($300.00), linens and more.

We are one of the few companies who offer a “true” false ceiling. It drapes under the basketball hoops and the fabric cannot be seen through. Check out how beautiful it is on our website. For $2000 (which, if you priced this cindyrella website, she doesn’t give you a total. We do EVERYTHING for that price) you have custom backdrops, the canopy, cake area, antique trunk gift area, sign in, picture table, food area, candy favor table (your choice of 4 candy types) and beautiful lighting. The canopy is freestanding. We do not attach and damage any walls in the process of setting it up. Take a look at our website to see for yourself what we offer. It is still cheaper than reception centers, given that once you rent from them, you have to buy everything else so the bottom price of $1800 for example is really close to $4000 or $5000 when you have to use their in house caterer. I wanted to comment on Cindyrella Weddings. Cindy is way on top of things and is so great to work with. She recently did my wedding on May 1st, 2009 and I loved it and so did everyone at my reception. In fact, no one wanted to leave everything was so beautiful and she did it just how I wanted. I also want to mention that the first decorater we hired cancelled a week before and Cindy was able to come through for me in one week. I am so thankful she had an opening still. I think she is the best. Everyone who came to my wedding said they had never seen a cultural hall decorated as beautiful as mine. I will praise her forever. Thanks Cindy!! And those brides wanting decoraters for their weddings…all I can say is Cindyrella Weddings and you will be more than pleased with the results.
