Never Pay Full Price at a Craft Store!

Craft stores such as JoAnn Fabrics, Roberts Crafts or Michaels almost always have an entire section devoted to wedding supplies.  You can find weddig favors, invitations, thank you cards, guest books, even bridal veils and tiaras.

My favorite part of these stores is that you never have to pay full price!  That might sound kind of crazy if you’re not familiar with their coupons.  If that’s the case, let me fill you in on a little secret.  All of these stores consistantly send out coupons for at least 40% off of any item in the store.  That includes a cut of fabric (yes that’s right all you sewers out there- you can get all of the fabric for your dress for almost half price!), large picture frames that could be used for the reception (and great for decorating the new home after the big day!), tons of different wedding supplies and well, just about anything in the store.  (I do believe there are a couple exclusions- sale items for example.. and maybe their sewing machines… but it really does cover just about everything)

So how do you join the club to get these great deals?  Each store is a little different.  Here’s how they work.

JoAnn Fabric asks you to become a ‘Preferred Customer’ and basically just sign up for their email list.  They’ll then send the coupons right to you.  (their coupons also frequent the ads in the Sunday paper for all you subscribers) Click here for the link to their Preferred Customer sign up.  JoAnns also supports teachers!  If you are currently a professional teacher click here to sign up to receive 15% off of each purchase!

Michaels asks you to either sign up for another email list, or allows you to simply visit their website to see if there is a current coupon.  (They also frequent the Sunday paper ads!)  Click here to be directed to the email sign up, or here to see if there is a current coupon for your area.

Roberts lets you print the coupon straight from their website and, as far as I can tell, it’s always there if you need one.  You just can’t use more than one each day.  Click here to be directed to their coupon.  Roberts Crafts also advertises in various local Utah publications so keep your eyes open for more coupons!
