Sassy Sisters Weddings and More-Wedding Planner
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- a little extra money is totally worth not being completely stressed out while you’re engaged! I mean, don’t get me wrong- I’m obviously a fan of saving money on weddings (otherwise I certainly wouldn’t be writing for this blog!) but I really believe that a lot of times your happiness is worth more than a few bucks here and there.
So what do I suggest? Well, there are obviously a lot of solutions, but one of them would be hiring a wedding planner. Oh would I have loved a wedding planner when I was engaged!
I think I can guess what you’re thinking. You might be so sure that you can’t afford someone to plan for you that you’re just going to stop reading this- but hold on just a little longer! Let me tell you about Sassy Sister’s Weddings and More. These guys have a custom invitation service AND wedding planning service that allows you to pick how much planning you want to pay for. For example, you can hire them just to address your invitations, or you can talk to them about what you want and they’ll do the research on the wedding vendors for you!
The one I would have picked is their ‘wedding day coordinator’ option. I planned my wedding in Utah while both our families lived in different states. The most stressful part was a couple days before the wedding when my mom came in and I had to transfer months of planning over to her and hope she remembered everything (who had been paid in full, who needed a check, where the tables where coming from, who was serving the food, who had to pick up flowers, what time the reception center opened up etc) so that on the big day I could just enjoy myself. This would have been the perfect solution- not to mention those few days before the wedding would have been SO much better for my mom too! Imagine if she’d gotten to just sit back and enjoy the day as well!
Take some advice from me and get someone to help out at your wedding! You’ll have a much better time preparing and your mother will be so grateful!
