If you’re dreaming of a formal reception but can’t afford a full on dinner, you’ve got to check out Simply Sweet- a brand new Utah catering company.  Simply Sweet specializes in creating custom, color coordinated dessert buffets.  Yep, that’s right- color coordinated!  How fun is that?  These talented ladies will take your wedding colors and create a whole spread to work perfectly for you on your big day.   They offer all sorts of fun themed buffets such as a lemonade stand, a homemade cookie stand, hot chocolate buffet, s’mores station and more.  Who ever thought food could sound so fun?  I’ve definitely never seen any other local companies go through the effort of making their catering so custom for each wedding!

You can also pick your own items to create a menu combination all your own.  Some delicious items on their menu include white chocolate dipped fortune cookies, red velvet cake truffles, oreo truffles and petit fours. Their prices are very reasonable- especially considering the personalized time and effort put into each wedding (this is no Costco vege tray sitting next to Aunt Mami’s dry chocolate chip cookies!)  Wedding cakes start at $100 (that would be three tiers- 6″, 8″and 10″ round) and buffets start at just over $4/person.  (that’s for a buffet with three different items).  And, let’s be honest here- Hiring these guys would seriously cut down on your decorating budget!  The food table could be the main decor!
