The Nearlywed & The Newlywed
Hello all you Beautiful Brides To Be!
My name is Alyssa, my friend Kristie and I are going to be guest posting on here for a little bit, as the “Nearlywed & Newlywed.”
Just a little about us so you can get a feel for where we’re coming from and then we can get down to business:
I’m the “Newlywed.”
I just barely married Mr. Right at the beginning of May and we had two weddings, to accommodate both my family back East and the hubby’s family here in SLC (2 ceremonies and 2 receptions!) So I feel that I come fully armed with tips for both simple and formal weddings.
Kristie is the “Nearlywed.”
She and the man of her dreams are planning a wedding mid- July and is right in the middle of all this wedding planning fun- so she’s got a few tips and tricks up her sleeve as well!
We hope that we’ll be able to offer some helpful information including what we’re going to call THE “How-To’s” and “Who’s Whos” of wedding planning in Utah.

Alyssa, that could be almost every girl’s dream to have two weddings to the same man! Or perhaps your worst nightmare if you’re having to plan the two simultaneously.
I’m guessing you wore the same dress to both – did both weddings have the same theme?
