Titanium bands are great and cheap. The only downside is that they cannot be re-sized. Most people don’t change ring sizes their entire lives though.

I am actually surprised that metals like titanium and tungsten are in such high demand. Neither tungsten nor titanium can be sized, so don’t gain or lose any weight! Then again, the styling of wedding bands created with these metals tends to be much different than more traditional designs created in platinum, palladium or gold.

They are basically a precious metal, you can count on that. Also, they last forever, so no point in worrying about them destroying. Platinum rings and gold don’t even last long anyways.

Titanium and tungsten may be good choices for every day wedding bands. But I also believe that a wedding band should be made from a precious metal, so that’s why I have one for special occassions made from platinum. But I definitely see the appeal for metals like titanium and tungsten.
