Yesterday highlighted a great Park City Bed and Breakfast with a fantastic Summer rate. Today I want to let you all in on another great Park City secret- just to further convince all of you summer brides and grooms to look into Park City as a honeymoon location.
As many of you know, Park City’s main street it full of amazing, high class restaurants. I’ll be honest, most of them are the type of restaurants that I would love to go and experience, but will just never be able to justify the $60-$100 per person that I’d have to pay for the meal. But their food looks SO good!
I was so excited when my aunt introduced me to Windy Ridge. This Park City restaurant is under the same ownership as some of those big, fancy Main Street restaurants (Grappa, Chimayo, Wahso, and Ghidotti’s to be exact). They use Windy Ridge as a bit of a test kitchen for those big, expensive retaurants- meaning you can get some of the same items offered in those super fancy places for a fration of the price. Their prices start at about $10 a plate and their menu includes items such as Halibut Florentine served with Wild Rice Pilaf and Rosemary Roasted New Potatoes. Or Their Grilled Chicken Panini filled with grilled chicken breast, arugula, tomato and camozola cheese. (that one’s my personal favorite)
Their food is truly gourmet and their prices are good enough that you won’t feel guilty enjoying it! Plus, in the same parking lot is their amazing bakery serving the most divine desserts I have ever tasted. It’s the perfect way to enjoy your once in a lifetime honeymoon without breaking the bank.
