Zurchers Discount Wedding Supply
When I was planning my wedding I was struck with this strange reality of how hard it is to find wedding stuff. There are these things that are at almost every wedding reception- a fancy knife to cut the cake, guest books, little wedding favor boxes- you know the stuff. They’re so common that you just assume you can stop by your local store and pick some up. That’s certainly true of a lot of them, but there were a couple items that I just couldn’t find! One of them was those nice, clear plastic cups. I was having a garden reception and wanted to keep my serving ware casual and cheap. I went to find those nice plastic cups. You know, the clear ones that are real nice and sturdy. I thought I’d just go to Walmart and pick some up. I went there, then to Costco, then to Target and then a couple other places. If any of those stores had any of these cups it was a pack of 10 cups for like $5. I sent out 700 wedding invitations. Cups that came in a pack of 10 just didn’t seem like the right way to do things.
Then my fiance and I stopped at the Zurchers in Orem. (don’t worry, they have locations all over, click here to see where!) It was such a wonderful moment for me to walk into that store! It was like all those little wedding detail things that you have no idea where to get all in one place. And at really good prices. We got our nice plastic cups with matching little plates along with all of our serving dishes, napkins in our wedding colors (they have every color you can imagine there!), and little containers of bubbles for people to blow as we walked out. I was so happy! That had a ton more that we didn’t end up getting like those ‘print yourself invitations’ and these really great tablecloths that were paper (and priced like paper!) but a thick paper that hung and almost felt like cloth.
